October 19 ...Who doesn't love fall

Well, to be perfectly honest I am a Summer girl! So me!!!! Flannel sheets, electric mattress pads, wood on the fire, bunny hugs and vanilla lattes. Seems like I am always cold. I count the months until spring. I must admit though we have had a beautiful warm fall but alas the temperature are all negative from tomorrow on.

So I have been busy since my holiday with putting the yard to bed and squeezing in glass work where I could. I finished the rock work on the backside of the house yesterday. I made a stepping stone out of some of my rock collection stones to give that back entrance some interest. What do you think?

Check out some newly listed products on Etsy and my website. Loving this new hummingbird pattern I made for a friend. She wanted it more realistic looking. I think I will retire the 9 piece hummy I usually make and start using the 10 piece one.

Working on Pelicans, Kingfishers, mushrooms and Woodpeckers today. Pelicans have become a great seller. I never saw many on the lake this year, only a few in the spring. Ravens, Gray Jays, Chickadees, Nuthatches, Juncos, Grosbeaks and Snowbirds are our regular repertoire of backyard birds. Throw the odd Owl or Blue Jay in the mix once in a while. The Magpies stay away after one of them was caught in a Lynx trap. The rest learned pretty fast. Wasn't me!

Monday I begin a larger landscape panel. I will post updates as I build it. Enjoy the rest of your week. Take care out there.
